Sarasota Memorial Hospital - Cape Surgery Center East Door Renovation
This project involved relocating and updating the fire egress of the hospital’s surgery center. The exit was relocated and a small storage room was created. This exit also served as a small loading area. The scope of this renovation included:
– Demolition
– Containment
– Metal stud and drywall framing
– Stucco and painting
– Replacing doors
– Electrical work
– Carpet flooring and baseboards
– Installing ceiling tiles
– Installing hand rails
– Installing a new steel gate for the loading area
The construction had to be scheduled around the surgery schedules, which meant working after certain hours as well as weekends.
