Mote Marine Laboratory Science & Education Aquarium (SEA)
Construction of a new 120,000 SF aquarium at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, FL. The project is being managed by a partnership of the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and Willis Smith Construction. The facility will feature exhibits with more than one million gallons of water. The species of sea life will include sharks, sea turtles, manatees and otters. Coral reef species from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans will be included.
